1st Ultrasound

On Tuesday, Justin and I got to experience our first ultrasound. Our little life force looked so tiny, so precious at 4 cm long. He/she is just around the size of a small mandarin orange. To see our baby in the uterus made it all sink in so sweetly. Afterwards, daddy-to-be, stands up and says, "that was one of the most amazing experiences in my life." Coming from a man who scales peaks and dives down in the Blue Hole, we quickly realized we're embarking on the most amazing adventure of our life!

The 1st trimester is over and I am already feeling a million times better. I never knew I could feel so sick and so tired all at once. I'm looking forward to the next 3 months despite the fact that my clothes are getting tight and what to wear is more challenging than ever. It doesn't help when I decide at 10p last night that I am starving and send Justin out on a Taco Bell run. TB beef tacos NEVER tasted soooooooooo good.
